2018 - The Tigers had an interesting season, and we were there to cheer them on at the Homecoming Parade.  Coach O knows his football, and we know what the tiger fans love.  If you haven't been there in person, you need to get out there on the parade path and look for the band with purple and gold flashes!

2017 -  Homecoming this year brought a large number of band members who were eager and ready to perform for all the dedicated LSU fans.  The crowds were thick on the parade route and many of them recognized our unique version of the LSU alma mater (even with the snazzy ending) and sang to us as we passed them on the road.  BR Pipes and Drums is a one of a kind band too!

2016 -  Celebrating the LSU Tigers Homecoming was a bit different this year.  Exciting - a new head of the football team, Coach O with his uniquely La. personality and the loss of our beloved mascot, Mike the Tiger. Fortunately for the fans, the parade still rolled and never fear, BRP&D was there too.  Hope you were able to come and listen to our debut of the LSU alma mater on the pipes and drums.  It was awesome!

2015 - Another classic LSU Homecoming this year with an undefeated ranked football team! The skies were gray and threatening, but our band is devoted, loyal and tough!  We had a great turnout and were honored to greeted by the Homecoming Court and ole Mike the Tiger mascot too.  We got a little wet, but our fantastic tailgate party wasn't deterred! Wouldn't miss it for the world!

2014 - LSU Homecoming is nationally recognized as the Place to Be  - even ESPN Gameday was on campus!  The march down Lakeshore Drive was beautifully decorated and the cheers from the thousand tailgaters cheered us down to the stadium and back.  Our own tailgating tent was well stocked and we really enjoyed the food and company.  An extra bonus of the outstanding Tiger win made the day perfect!!!

2013 - It is always wonderful to be at LSU at Homecoming and this year wasn't any different.  Great weather, cool fans, lovely decorations all make an unique experience.  And our tailgating party afterwards grows each year and has the best food around!

2012 Parade - It was great to out on the LSU campus again as undeniably we are the parade favorite band!!  And the LSU fans are by far the world's best tailgaters with loud cheers, good food and loyal devotion to the best things in life - like the Baton Rouge Pipes and Drums!!!

2011 Parade - We were proud to be in step with the Formidable LSU Tigers this Saturday at the annual Homecoming Parade.  It's great to be on top - just like the #1 Tigers. What a great LSU Homecoming Parade with enthusiastic fans around the Historic Parade Ground. The parade was a blast as it is always encouraging to hear cheers and claps.  We also witnessed a large numbers of photographers and even received loud applause from the local high school marching band who loved our signature piece.

2010 Parade -  Wow! We had a phenomenal turnout this past Saturday at the annual LSU homecoming parade.  21 pipers and drummers marched past all the favorite tailgating spots and screaming fans.  After the parade, we settled into our own first class tailgating party.  We had a blast with lots and lots of food and drinks.  We missed Larry and Jim; get well soon, guys. Check out the photos and video  We really looked sharp & sounded great.  Thanks to Nick's friend for the excellent video link.

2009 Parade -  On Saturday, November 14th our band made its debut performance at the widely popular LSU Homecoming Parade.  It is an exciting day on the busy campus that is filled with all kinds of activities and celebrations.  The parade starts amidst the beautiful and sometimes crazy themed Greek house decorations and winds its way under the famous LSU live oaks throughout the university.  The parade was led by Coach Paul Mainieri, coach of the Baseball National Champions and the beautiful Miss LSU and her court.  The Baton Rouge Pipes and Drums were in full force and gathered wide applause from the festive tailgating crowds that LSU is proud to have.  We were pleased to be asked for a repeat performance next year by the Homecoming organizers!  See you then and there!!  Check out our photos.
